Transcription Episode 133

Hey everyone, welcome back to Living on Blockchain. I’m your host, Tarusha, and it’s been a while. And if you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, thank you so much for sticking around.

Whether you’re somebody who’s been listening to us for a long time, a long time listener, or someone who’s just found this podcast, I want you to know just how grateful I am that you are here. It’s been a little quiet on this feed lately, and I want to talk about that, share what’s been going on, what’s coming next, and how you can be a part of it. So first things first, yes, I did take a bit of a break from releasing new episodes, not because I was losing steam or this is something that has stopped interesting, I mean, anyway, I have been recording nonstop, but because I’ve been reflecting a little about how to make this podcast even better and more useful for all of you.

Behind the scenes, I’ve been speaking at events, interviewing more guests, working on some really exciting projects, and thinking deeply about the kind of content that adds real value in this fast-moving battery space. We’ve been doing this podcast for several years now. I didn’t just want to keep dropping interviews for the sake of it.

Those will continue, but I also want to curate conversations and formats that will actually help you build, learn, or take action. And that brings me to the next bit, some exciting new things that we are launching right here on Living on Blockchain. So let’s start with something fun, because that’s where the comebacks are for, right? You need to have a celebration.

So I’m kicking things off with a bit of a listener Q&A plus a giveaway. So here’s the deal. I want to feature your questions in a special upcoming episode, whether you are wondering about trends in Web3, how to start your own podcast, or which sectors are actually building sustainable models in crypto, I want to hear it.

You can DM me, you can tag me on Twitter, you can reply to this particular post, the podcast itself, whatever works for you. I’ll pick a few of the best ones and answer them on air. I will reply to all of you.

And one lucky listener will win a Web3 mystery box. So this includes a limited edition NFT from a project that I love, a book on Web3 or startups to level up your knowledge, and a surprise digital goodie that every builder or founder will appreciate. You just have to be subscribed to the podcast, follow our socials, send in your questions.

It’s just that simple. And honestly, I can’t wait to hear what’s on your mind. Like I said, I will be reverting to all, but only a few will make it to the actual episode.

Now let’s talk a little about something new that I’m trying to bring on the podcast itself, Project Deep Dive. So in addition to interviews with founders, we’ll be doing episodes where I’ll dissect a Web3 project, breaking down what they’re building, how they work, their tokenomics, trends, red flags, if any, and whether they are really solving a problem or just riding a hike. So this is something that will educate me as well as educate the listeners because this space is noisy.

And while interviews give us insight into what people are building, sometimes you just need an honest, no fluff breakdown of a project to help you figure out if it’s worth your time or energy. This is going back to the very fundamentals of why I started this podcast. The idea was to demystify this particular space.

Think of these particular episodes that are coming your way as your smart friend who’s read the white paper, who’s done the research for you so that you don’t have to do it. Obviously, do your own research, but because it’s about demystifying the space, that is what I’ll be doing. I’ll be demystifying and breaking down these projects.

These will be solo episodes, but I also bring in experts from time to time for technical perspectives or counterpoint. And if there’s any specific project that you want me to cover, send that in. I will be taking requests as well.

So to recap, we are back with new episodes, a new format and a giveaway. The Q&A plus Mystery Box giveaway is now live. Send in your questions and subscribe if you have not already.

And keep an eye out for the first Project Deep Dive episode, which drops very, very soon. I’ll also be bringing in some incredible guests back on for the interview in the weeks ahead. We have so many interviews in the can already.

So if you’re listening, supporting, sharing this show or about the show, I appreciate you. I’m very, very grateful. Let’s make this next particular season of Living on Blockchain our best one yet.

Until next time, stay curious, stay decentralized, and I’ll catch you in the next episode very, very soon. And keep living on blockchain.
